On July 6, GETECH was invited to attend the Qiushi Yuan Semiconductor Live Salon. At the event, Zhao Zhi, General Manager of GETECH's QMS Product Division, delivered a keynote speech titled "Full-Lifecycle Quality Management in the Semiconductor Industry: QMS Driving Enterprise Quality Upgrade," systematically proposing a digital quality management solution covering the entire semiconductor design, manufacturing, and packaging/test chain. It is undeniable that "fracture zones" commonly exist in semiconductor quality management scenarios. For example, quality data is scattered across independent systems such as fabs and packaging/test factories, and paper-based records make traceability difficult; business processes rely on manual workflows, making it challenging to monitor violations; customer special requirements (CSR) and change management lack integrated mechanisms; and group-level quality control lacks collaborative leverage. Zhao Zhi presented a quality management informatization solution covering the full application scenarios of "R&D-Supplier-Production-Customer" in the semiconductor field. In the R&D quality management scenario, the solution achieves deep integration of IPD and APQP, constructing a Q-GATE quality gate mechanism. Through structured control of tools such as DFMEA and Control Plans (CP), it ensures early interception of design risks. In the supplier collaboration scenario, it builds a supplier interaction platform, enabling automatic verification of COA (Certificate of Analysis) data. When suppliers upload data, the system compares it in real-time with a whitelist of material specifications, automatically triggering material Holding for OOS (Out of Specification)/OOC (Out of Control) data, reducing incoming material risks at the source. In the intelligent production scenario, it integrates data flows such as WAT, CP, and Defect Map from fabs/packaging-test factories, automatically triggering E-OCAP (Electronic Out-of-Control Action Plan) through SPC outlier monitoring. In the customer quality scenario, it establishes a CSR-AR closed-loop mechanism to meet customer special requirements, while covering tasks such as product shipment, customer complaints, and customer claims. Simultaneously, the solution leverages the six core tools of quality management systems—APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, and PPAP—to deliver a full-score answer for semiconductor quality management digitalization.

 

In Zhao Zhi's view, quality management involves the serialization and in-depth analysis of hundreds of task nodes across horizontal and vertical business flows. The key to breakthrough lies in the ability to "decouple" and "close the loop" on data fracture zones.
